More Ways to Make an Impact

Help Children Achieve Thrive!

All children deserve the chance to achieve their greatest potential.

Together, we must build a brighter future for children, families, and the communities we call home.

During this historic time, there is tremendous opportunity to once again make Illinois a leader in early childhood care and education. It won’t be easy, and we can’t do it alone. But it is imperative for the future of our children, families and communities, who need us now more than ever before. Your gift will make an impact today—and long into the future.

At IAFC, we offer numerous ways to make an impact, so you can pick the options that are most meaningful to you.

A Time to Shine: Building a Bright Future
Friday, October 13, 2023
5:30 – 8:30 p.m.
Venue Six10 at Spertus Institute
610 South Michigan Avenue
Chicago, IL

Be a part of the action at A Time to Shine on Friday, October 13 for a dynamic evening as Illinois Action for Children welcomes award-winning actor and author Dulé Hill as our featured guest. Dulé Hill will share insights about what he’s learning as he raises his two children, a nineteen-year-old daughter and a three-year-old son, who were the inspiration for the children’s book he co-authored with his wife, actress Jazmyn Simon, called “Repeat After Me.” The vibrant picture book highlights the importance of young children developing the self-confidence and esteem to believe in themselves. Get your tickets here!

We will gather at the contemporary and sophisticated Venue Six10 at Spertus Institute. This award-winning, sustainable building boasts a dazzling 10-story faceted window wall that offers panoramic views of Chicago’s skyline, Grant Park, Lake Michigan, Buckingham Fountain, Navy Pier, the Museum Campus, and even Indiana on a clear day!
