Online learning is provided through Gateways to Opportunity, a statewide professional development support system designed to provide guidance, encouragement, and recognition to individuals and programs serving children, youth, and families.

Gateways i-learning is the hub of online training for Illinois child care providers. You can locate online training for IDCFS Licensing, ExceleRate Illinois, and other courses related to caring for children.

Professional Development Trainings

Illinois Action for Children, in collaboration with its network of Community Partners, offers comprehensive professional development opportunities, resources, and technical assistance to early care and school-age professionals throughout Cook County.
