    Hiring Process

As an applicant, you will participate in a step-by-step process by which we identify the candidates who are best suited to join Illinois Action for Children.

While we would like to be able to contact all candidates personally, this is not feasible given the volume of resume submissions. We will contact only those candidates for which we are interested in interviewing.

To apply, please view the list of available job opportunities on the Open Positions page. Once you review the description and qualifications for each position, you may apply by following the instructions provided in the sidebar on the right.

Once your information is received and you’re taken through the interview process, Human Resources will communicate a formal offer. This offer is contingent upon the successful results of a background check and transcript submission, if applicable. Our background checking process includes criminal history, education and employment verification. References may also be contacted.
