Professional Development Training
Illinois Action for Children collaborates with its network of community partners to offer professional development opportunities to early care and school-age professionals throughout Cook County. This includes:
- Home- and center-based programs
- Licensed and license-exempt providers
- Providers serving CCAP and non-CCAP children
We offer health and safety, Excelerate and statewide affiliate trainings as well as activity-based trainings for providers looking for a more interactive experience.
Building Success for Providers, Children and Families
Providers are responsible for caring for, teaching and sculpting the children of our future. Helping one provider improve their quality will have a compounded benefit on children and families. We offer the tools and training providers need to perform at their best for the families and children they serve.
Convenience and Connections
Our training is offered through Illinois Action for Children and through community partners in different areas throughout Cook County so that providers have a convenient training location and can network with other providers in the community.
